Sunday's EuroFile: Arvesen extends CSC streak in Denmark; Garrido leads in Portugal; Capelle tops in Bochum
Arvesen wins Danish tour
Norwegian Kurt-Asle Arvesen (CSC) won the Tour of Denmark on Sunday.
Britain’s Mark Cavendish (T-Mobile) won the sixth and final stage, a 175.6km leg between Praestoe and Frederiksberg.
Arvesen thus becomes the first two-time winner of the Danish tour, his first victory here having come in 2004. It is the fourth consecutive victory here for a CSC rider.
"It's fantastic," Arvesen told The Associated Press. "I never thought I could do this."

Grillo takes stage, Garrido leads in Portugal
Italian Paride Grillo (Ceramica Panaria) sprinted to victory in stage 1 of the Volta a Portugal on Sunday.
The 196.4km stage ran between Portimao and Beja. Argentinian Martin Garrido (Duja-Tavira), who won Saturday’s prologue, retains the yellow jersey going into Monday’s second stage, a 169.3km leg from Vila Viçosa to Castelo Branco.

Capelle tops in Bochum
Belgian Andy Capelle (Landbouwekredit) won the Sparkasse Giro Bochum on Sunday in Germany.
Capelle took the 175.2km stage ahead of Netherlander Tom Stamsnijder and German Bert Grabsch.

Vaugrenard claims 12th French Cup round
Frenchman Benoit Vaugrenard (Française des Jeux) won Sunday’s 28th edition of La Poly Normande, the 12th round of the Coupe de France.
Vaugrenard attacked with 15km remaining in the 157km race between Avranches and Saint-Martin-de-Landelles, and extended his margin to win by nearly 90 seconds ahead of Michael Buffaz and Bert De Waele.
Rémy Pauriol (Crédit Agricole) leads the Coupe de France standings with 102 points.
