Aurora Health Care Wisconsin Cycling Series expands

The Aurora Health Care Wisconsin Cycling Series is pleased to announce that they have added an additional day of racing to its calendar expanding it to three days. Bill Ochowicz and Mike Martens, Race Directors for the Giro d’ Grafton presented by Grafton State Bank and Ozaukee Bank, and Paul Weaver, Race Director for the Sheboygan Harbor Centre Family Day and
Bike Race presented by Bank First National have joined forces with Andy Crater, Race Director for Team Wheel and Sprocket, to add an additional race on Friday June 20, 2008.

Over $30,000 in total cash prizes and primes will be awarded for the 3 day series with over $15,000 allocated for the Pro 1, 2 race series. Music, entertainment, great food and other vendors will be available for riders, visitors and sports enthusiasts.

Friday’s race will begin in the early afternoon and end with another Twilight Criterium thru the streets of the recently renovated Bayshore Town Center in Glendale, Wisconsin www.bayshoretowncenter.com . Bayshore Town Center has recently been completely renovated into a major regional shopping center and mixed use residential and commercial development and is owned and operated by the Steiner Group.

The Hilton Milwaukee River Hotel located at 4700 North Port Washington Road in Milwaukee, Wisconsin has also become the official host hotel for the Aurora Health Care Wisconsin Cycling Series and will provide riders and visitors special discounted rates and information on the event.

On Saturday June 21, 2008 and Sunday June 22, 2008, respectively, the second annual Giro d’ Grafton presented by Grafton State Bank and the first annual Sheboygan Harbor Centre Family Day and Bike Race presented by Bank First National will take place.
