VeloNews and Inside Triathlon name new sales staff
December 8, 2005Boulder, CO -- VeloNews and Inside Triathlon magazinesannounce important changes to the advertising sales staff at these leadinginternational cycling and triathlon titles:*Promoted to group advertising director for VeloNews and InsideTriathlon is Nick Ramey, a three-year sales veteran of both titles,and most recently advertising director for Inside Triathlon. A competitivecyclist and multisport athlete (Xterra is his favorite event), Ramey leda renaissance in advertising page sales at Inside Triathlon in 2005,setting new lineage records for the title.*Promoted to senior account executive for VeloNews is Kevin Burnette,a classified and event ad sales specialist who moves up to take more tradeaccounts. Prior to joining VeloNews, Burnette was an inside salesmanager at American Bicycle Group, and is an experienced triathleteand road cyclist.*New to VeloNews is account executive Nathan Forbes, most recentlya sales manager at Velimpex Marketing in Ft. Collins, Colorado, and anaccomplished road-race competitor.*New to Inside Triathlon is account executive Mark Gouge, a veteransoftware sales executive and 10-time Ironman finisher.*Rounding out the crew is Lars Finanger, account executive for InsideTriathlon, owner of a 9:19 PR at the Hawaii Ironman, and an XterraNational Champion in the 20-24 age-group.
