Fred Dreier

BACKGROUND: Dreier covers the full spectrum of bicycle racing, from mountain bike and track cycling to the international road scene. Dreier studied journalism and history at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he competed on the swim and cycling teams and edited the school newspaper, City on a Hill Press. He started with VeloNews in 2005. Dreier is a Cat. 3 cyclist on the road, a two-time finisher of the La Ruta de los Conquistadores mountain bike race and a three-time Ironman finisher.
