Biography
A child prodigy in Moldova, Pliushin settled in France as an amateur and enjoyed a fine spring in 2007, enough to convince Ag2r to sign him to a neo-pro contract for the second half of the year. A training crash in January left him with a broken collarbone and sidelined him for scheduled debut at the Tour de Langkawi.
