Biography

Through the 2006 and 2007 seasons, Boasson Hagen rode for Team Maxbo-Bianchi. By racking-up over a dozen wins for those seasons, he was able to finish fifth place overall for the 2006-2007 UCI Europe Tour rankings.

In 2009, Boasson Hagen caught fire, winning Ghent-Wevelgem then taking a run at the Giro d'Italia, finishing second, first, and second in stages 6,7, and 8.
