    Tiralongo is a small but energetic climber from Italy. He has been riding since 1984 and turned pro in 2000 with Fassa Bortolo. He has done all three of the big tours; his best finishes include second place overall at the Tour of the Mediterranean in 2002, and third place overall at the Tour of Austria in 2001
