That was Chris Milliman, in an e-mail promising photos from this weekend's Liberty Mutual U.S. Cyclo-cross National Championships in Providence, Rhode Island. He's seen his fair share of the white stuff while covering 'cross races this fall, and from the look of the shots he sent our way today, he's not seen the last of it yet.
