A hallmark of American racing, the Redlands Bicycle Classic has been held since 1985. Although the prize purse has grown and the number of days has fluctuated, Redlands has always been a major stage race in the spring. Redlands' list of past winners reads like a who's who of American cycling: Thurlow Rogers, Davis Phinney, Alexi Grewal, Scott Moninger, Jonathan Vaughters, Christian Vande Velde, Chris Horner and Trent Klasna, among others.
