
New England Race Week is a new series featuring several long-established events as some new ones.
The week starts with the Cox Charities Classic in Providence, Rhode Island on June 28.
The next day riders head to Newton, Massachusetts, for the Boloco Heartbreak Hill Grand Prix, a new circuit race where cyclists will race up the Boston Marathon’s infamous “Heartbreak Hill."
The next race is in Thompson, Connecticut, which will host the Twilight Criterium on June 30th.
On July 1st is the 26th annual Exeter Criterium in downtown Exeter, New Hampshire.
The week is capped by the 49th annual Fitchburg Longsjo Classic in Massachusetts. The four-day stage race, an NRC event, includes a time trial, a 78-mile circuit race, a 104-mile road race and a 50-mile criterium.
The races have a combined prize list of $75,000 plus a new $4000 omnium contest for riders who compete in all eight events.
